Zipper Cuff.  This is too badass, there are no words to describe.  I want.  I love.  I'm going to make.

I've had this sequined bolero jacket for quite some time now (I think I got it 3 years ago??) and decided to bust it back out, especially since sequins are trendy again.  A great way to spruce up a tee and another reason to hang onto to your favorite trendy items.  Everything old becomes new again. bar - Bolero Jacket: Random Boutique

Again I love the studded bag and payless booties because they both add a bit of edge to what would be a rather conservative ho hum office outfit.  I also busted out a watch that I have had since college (over 7 years old - big with encrusted diamonds and light pink band) to give a splash of color.  Everything old becomes new again.  Oh and the earrings are those button earrings I mentioned in yesterdays post. bar - Blazer: WHBM

I absolutely love her outfit.  I normally don't like lace or see thru tops or lace see thru tops for that matter, but strangely I found myself LOVING this.  If I lived in LA  and had a rocking hot body I would def step out in this number.  Side note - Add on life to do list: move to LA, get a rocking hot body, and wear this outfit.  I think she pulls it off well, tastfully well, by adding nude accessories (shoes and clutch), as well as pairing it with simple well tailored skinny black jeans and keeping the jewelry to a minimal (bangles).  For me it's a daring win win.

Here is a great way to fall up your summer dresses - I added a cardigan and tights for warmth effect and then made the whole look edgy with the purse and booties.  I loved wearing this and felt stylish and put together.  I got my earrings at a local sewing/fabric store for $4.50.  They are large black/beaded studs that used to be buttons and then were made into earrings.  Total genuis and totally unique/one of a kinds.  Now i'm obessed with buttons.  I made six cocktail rings over the weekend...photos to come later today.  Def going to be giving these easy yet stylish rings away as gifts for the upcoming holidays and I can't wait!!  I also can't wait to start rocking my own creations! bar - Dress: Banana

I'm in love with Christian Siriano's line at Payless!  I wish I could buy them all!  I ended up getting the gold flats because they are classic, can transition easily from season to season and not to mention totally luxe looking.  Score!  I love the zipper detail and luxe design.  Payless has been doing a tremendous job pairing up with designers and putting out great looking shoes the past few seasons.  Get yours quick because they are rapidly selling out.  The gold pumps above are pretty much already gone (probably sold out by the time I post this entry).  Hopefully they will debut at the stores soon (I haven't seen any yet) and you can score your pretty pairs there!

I know a lot of people think of Payless as cheap, poor quality and drab style, but I would like to say that is far from true.  I have always been happy with their product, design and comfort.  I usually check out Payless at the start of each season to see what trendy shoes I can score there before I shell out a lot for a trendy designer label.  I also get all of my basic black pumps there for several reasons: (1) I wear them to death (work, going out, work, going out) and no matter what brand I buy, Payless or Designer, they are in need of being replaced by the second season, (2) I have splurged on Black designer pumps before and have been majorly disapointed when the heel has completely broken off (happened to me twice and never again will I make the same mistake), lastly (3) Payless doesn't break the bank and that is key in this economy.  Bottom line:  All of my Payless shoes have lasted longer than my designer shoes, are super cute and are always comfortable.

One of my favorite bloggers Kansas Couture always rocks awesome Payless shoes and shows that affordable style can still be hip and fashionable.
